Faculty Exhibitions, 2013 - 2023

Faculty exhibitions were an opportunity to reflect upon the absurdities that occurred there for the audience in which they pertained. They were site specific installations for concepts that would be developed further (An Anonymous Inventory of Items Stolen from Art Departments) or challenges that would advance presentation by concentrating on the narrative and not the photograph (Other Art Departments). The two pieces featuring student evaluations furthered my interest in what is public versus private by combining information describing my father with those written about me 30 years later. The repurposing of this form depicts the way I first encountered it, a surface for drawing, that would acquire greater significance once I was employed by a university.
