In March 2011, I asked everyone I knew for help collecting 3,770 paper reproductions of cats to match the same amount found in Arline Conradt's scrapbook from the 1940s-1950s. It was completed 27 months later and is the final object displayed on a pedestal in the foreground of the wallpapered room in this mock-up installation.
